Charles E. Nussbaum, MD, FAANS

Charles E. Nussbaum, MD is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He graduated in 1980 from Bowdoin College with a degree in biochemistry. Dr. Nussbaum then completed medical school and residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

During his full time practice of nearly 30 years in Seattle, he practiced the gamut of adult neurosurgery with a significant interest in the management of brain tumors. He has held numerous leadership positions both at the hospital and medical society levels. He is a Past President of the Western Neurosurgical Society, and continues to serve on the group’s executive committee. Additionally, he has expertise in care quality and efficiency as well as medical liability.

Dr. Nussbaum is working alongside Robert Yapundich, MD and Jenny Willmore, PA-C in enhancing the scope and quality of neurological services for the residents of Teton Valley. His interests outside of medicine include fishing, skiing, mountain biking and exploring the Teton Valley with his family.
