Our Process

Application

The first step you need to take for employment at Teton Valley Health is to search our current openings and find one you feel is a great fit for you. Once you complete and submit your application, you will be prompted to complete your online profile. We do our best to keep you informed about the status of your application. If you have not heard from us for a while, feel free to check up on us by replying to the email you received when submitting the application. We normally move forward with the interviewing process if your experience and qualifications are a good fit for the position and you are among the most competitive candidates.

Phone Screening

If we have additional questions about your application or your experience, you might receive a phone call from us. During this process, we will clarify any questions we might have regarding salary range, qualifications, relevant experience, and interview availability.

Interview

Once we have determined you are a good fit, we will invite you for an interview. Interviewing at Teton Valley Health takes many shapes and forms. You might be invited to an on-campus interview, conference interview, or a phone interview. You might be meeting with your interviewers separately or in a group. We will make sure to keep you posted about what to expect as we discuss these details with you. Regardless of the type of interview, you will meet with any combination of the following: Hiring Manager, Human Resources, or Peers and a Member of Admin Team. We would expect for you to arrive or be ready for your interview at least 15 minutes prior the scheduled time. If you want to fit in right away, you may consider a business casual dress code. Let us know if we can assist you with anything or if you require special accommodation ahead of time. It is our top priority for you to have a great experience.

Hiring Decision

Once we have interviewed you it might take us up to two weeks to reach the hiring decision. Some positions may require more time than others. If you are offered the position, your offer is contingent upon the return of professional references and a background check. We will normally offer the position to you verbally over the phone. While accepting the position right away will speed the process of bringing you on board, you are welcome to ask for time to consider our offer.

If we decide not to extend an offer of employment, you will receive an email notification. It is our practice not to disclose the details of our hiring decisions. There is a number of factors we consider when finalizing our hiring decision. Regardless of the hiring outcome, we appreciate the time taken out of your busy schedule to apply and meet with us.
