Nathan B. Levanger, DO is a Board-Certified Family Physician and member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). r. Levanger serves as Teton Valley Health Care’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and is the Board Chairman of the MountainStar Care Partners ACO. 

Dr. Levanger earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then attended the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California where he earned a Doctorate degree in Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Levanger then completed an internship and residency at Eastmoreland Hospital in Portland, Oregon. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Levanger earned a Master of Medical Managment from the University of Southern California in 2018. 

As the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and a Family Practice Physician at Teton Valley Health.  Dr. Levanger brought stability and unity among the providers at Teton Valley Health and uniformity to medical documentation and clinical processes. As a Family Physician he practiced a patient-centered philosophy emphasizing the treatment of the whole person, and taking into account a patient’s lifestyle and environment, as well as their physical and psychological health.

Dr. Levanger enjoys living in the mountains of a close-knit community. His outdoor interests include a wide array of hiking, biking, woodworking, skiing, sailing and spending time with his family.
