Dr. Prissel moved to Teton Valley from Missoula, Montana where she served as a hospitalist and staff physician at Providence St. Patrick’s Hospital. While in Missoula, she was also an Affiliate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Montana. Prior to her work in Montana, she was a family physician with OB certification at Steele Memorial Medical Clinic and Hospital in Salmon, Idaho.

Between 2004 – 2012, Dr. Prissel organized and participated in a medical mission dedicated to implementing a healthcare system in Haiti. She was actively involved in strategizing clinic construction, fundraising, and developing partnerships with like-minded organizations.

She’s an avid skier and mountain biker.
