Recreation
You will love the wide variety of recreational activities in our beautiful valley. The west side of the Tetons in the beautiful Rocky Mountains offers some of the nation’s best skiing, both resort and backcountry, countless hiking trails, campsites, climbing, mountain and road biking, fly fishing, and river floating. It’s so easy to explore and fall in love with the valley.
National Parks
Teton Valley is situated right next to both the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and surrounded by a number of national forests, attracting visitors from all around the world, yet offers a quiet, hideaway location; the best kept secret in the world.
Wildlife
Teton Valley is home to some of the most majestic wildlife. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, black and grizzly bears, elk, and moose. In addition, you may spot bison, antelope, big-horn sheep and wolves in our beautiful national parks.
Events
The community calendar is flooded with events in Teton Valley. Some of the local favorites are Snowscapes, Music on Main, Symphony on Sundays, Balloon Rally, Tin Cup Challenge, farmers’ markets, and rodeos. One of the best things about living in the valley is belonging to an active community that enjoys the beauties of surrounding areas.
