TVH Laboratory Achieves Outstanding Results in Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Inspection

Teton Valley Health’s (TVH) Laboratory is pleased to announce its successful completion of the rigorous Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) inspection, further reinforcing its commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest quality standards in diagnostic testing.

The CLIA program, established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), ensures that clinical laboratories nationwide meet quality standards and provide accurate, reliable, and timely test results. The inspection process encompasses a comprehensive evaluation of laboratory operations, quality control procedures, personnel competency, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Under the meticulous scrutiny of the CLIA inspection team, TVH’s Laboratory demonstrated exemplary adherence to the stringent regulations and surpassed the expectations set forth by the CLIA program. The inspection results showcased the laboratory’s commitment to excellence, precision, and patient safety.

“This outstanding outcome in the CLIA inspection underscores our unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of quality and accuracy in our laboratory services,” says Interim Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nathan Levanger. “Our Laboratory Team has worked tirelessly to ensure that we consistently deliver accurate and reliable test results, enabling our healthcare professionals to make informed decisions and provide exceptional care to our patients.”

This accomplishment is a testament to TVH’s commitment to patient safety and the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of our operations.

“The successful CLIA inspection serves as a validation of the unwavering commitment of TVH’s Laboratory to maintaining the highest quality standards, continuous improvement, and patient focused care,” says Keith Brunz, Laboratory Director at TVH. “It also reinforces the trust placed in our laboratory by patients, healthcare providers, and the community at large.”

Teton Valley Health extends its gratitude to the dedicated Laboratory Team of professionals whose hard work, expertise, and unwavering commitment to quality and patient safety made this accomplishment possible.
