Melanie Canna, OTR
Originally from upstate New York, Mel moved out West to embrace a life centered around the great outdoors—working in adaptive sports and as a climbing and rafting guide.
Inspired by this passion for helping others, she went on to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Utah. Mel has a strong focus on empowering individuals to engage more fully in the activities they love and is particularly passionate about supporting aging adults in maintaining independence—whether that means staying safely in their homes or finding the environment that best suits their needs. Mel is trained in Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR) and in the treatment of various neurological disorders, equipping them with the tools to provide meaningful, evidence-based care. She currently lives in Victor with her husband and young daughter, soaking up all that Teton Valley and the great outdoors have to offer—whether it’s a long bike ride or a laid-back hang on the front porch.
