Dr. Katie Houmes, a Board-Certified Family Practice Physician, serves as Teton Valley Healthcare’s Hospitalist Program Director. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, in 2014. Following that, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, in 2017. She is also a member of the American Board of Family Medicine. 

Dr. Houmes is passionate about preventative medicine, rural health, sports and exercise medicine, and nutrition. “I am excited to bring my knowledge and skills to the valley,” expresses Dr. Houmes. “I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. My job is so much more rewarding and fulfilling when I get to know the people I am caring for.” 

During her personal time, Dr. Houmes enjoys trail running, skiing, mountain biking, and cherishing moments with her family.
