Joseph Raboin MSN, CRNA, APN
Joseph (“Joey”) Raboin is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality anesthesia care to patients across Teton Valley and Wyoming. With extensive experience practicing as an independent anesthesia provider in both Critical Access Hospital settings and Level I Trauma environments, Joey brings a steady, confident presence to every stage of the surgical experience.
A graduate of both Bryan College and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Joey earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing before completing his master’s degree in nursing with a focus in anesthesia at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. His clinical residency training was completed at Erlanger Health System, where he cared for a broad spectrum of complex patients, including premature neonates, high-risk obstetric patients, cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients, and critically injured trauma patients. Following residency, Joey was one of only two graduates offered a position with the Erlanger anesthesia group, where he practiced for four years before relocating to Teton Valley in 2018.
Joey manages the full spectrum of perioperative care—from thoughtful preoperative evaluations to precise intraoperative management and attentive postoperative recovery. He has particular expertise in caring for high-risk and medically complex patients, including those who are critically ill or hemodynamically unstable. His clinical background also includes emergency airway management, regional anesthesia, and post-anesthesia recovery care.
With more than eight years of experience practicing in rural and resource-limited healthcare systems, Joey understands the importance of adaptability, teamwork, and personalized patient care. He is committed to ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and well cared for throughout their surgical experience.
First visiting Teton Valley as a teenager, Joey dreamed of one day living and raising a family there—a dream that became reality when he moved from Chattanooga in 2018. Outside of anesthesia, Joey enjoys skiing, mountain biking, fly-fishing, CrossFit, and training for Ironman Triathlon events. Much of his free time is spent outdoors with his children, enjoying the mountain lifestyle that makes Teton Valley home.
