Dr. Prissel relocated to Teton Valley from Missoula, Montana, where she held the positions of hospitalist and staff physician at Providence St. Patrick’s Hospital. During her time in Missoula, she also served as an Affiliate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Montana. Before her tenure in Montana, she practiced as a family physician with OB certification at Steele Memorial Medical Clinic and Hospital in Salmon, Idaho. 

From 2004 to 2012, Dr. Prissel dedicated herself to organizing and participating in a medical mission aimed at establishing a healthcare system in Haiti. Her involvement encompassed strategic planning for clinic construction, fundraising efforts, and forging partnerships with like-minded organizations. 

In addition to her medical pursuits, Dr. Prissel has a passion for skiing and mountain biking.
