Gabriele Seffert M.A., CCC-SLP
Gabriele received her graduate degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Northern Colorado.
She has experience in acute & subacute care, short- & long-term rehabilitation, outpatient, as well as in pediatric settings.
Her scope of practice includes evaluation and treatment of dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, voice, and cognitive-linguistic deficits secondary to cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury, post-surgical complications, dementia, age-related decline, long COVID, concussion syndrome, as well as child-specific interventions with a focus on articulation and language.
She conducts and interprets modified barium swallow evaluations (MBSS) and is MBSImP certified. She fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across the rehabilitation spectrum and provides extensive education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
Gabriele has a certification in neuromuscular-electrostimulation (NMES) and continues to engage in regular continued education opportunities across her scope of practice to provide the highest level of evidence-based care.
Prior to entering the field of speech-language pathology, Gabriele—a native German speaker—spent several years as a high school teacher. Additionally, Gabriele has international business experience and holds an undergraduate degrees in communication and business, as well as a graduate degree in education.
In her free-time, Gabriele is passionate about travel, mountain biking, hiking, camping, skiing, enjoying time with family and friends, and volunteering in her community.
