Anna Giemza-Palmer, NP, PMHNP

Anna Giemza-Palmer, Nurse Practitioner, has joined the team at Teton Valley Health Care to provide care for patients who have mental disorders.

She is originally from Poland, but moved to the United States when she was a young teen. She studied at the University of North Dakota, receiving an Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology, two Bachelor’s degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing. She also has a gerontology certification which is the scientific study of aging, and the particular problems of the elderly. 

Her focus on mental health is centered on a holistic approach toward overall well-being. This approach may include reviewing her patients’ lifestyles to find opportunities for better self-care, managing medications, and working closely with psychiatrists and other providers that may be involved in her patients’ care. She values the strong, trusting relationships she has with her patients, making time to build comprehensive evaluations of every client by listening and understanding each of their particular needs. Giemza-Palmer is available to meet with patients ages 12 and over.

She lives a very active lifestyle, taking advantage of the beautiful Teton Valley area and she has a deep affection for animals.
