Robert Yapundich, MD, FAAN
Dr Yapundich is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and is Board certified in Neurology, with subspeciality certifications in Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine. Although initially majoring in Forestry, he ultimately graduated with a degree in Chemistry from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, followed by a Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in EMG and Neuromuscular diseases at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Despite subspecialty training, Dr Yapundich thoroughly enjoys all aspects of adult neurology and continues to maintain active practices in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, including Teleneurology. He currently resides in North Carolina but enjoys the opportunity to travel around the country to provide neurological care to patients in both urban and rural settings. He has been especially attracted to the natural beauty of the Teton Valley and surrounding regions and looks forward to the opportunity to improve his love of fishing, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, and photography, all while striving to enhance the scope and quality of neurological services to the residents of the Teton Valley.
