Exciting Updates to Our Board of Directors

Every two years, we embrace the opportunity for new leadership within our Board of Directors. This transition allows for fresh perspectives while building upon the dedication and hard work of those who have served before. We extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing leadership and warmly welcome our new officers.

A Heartfelt Thank You

For the past two years, Jo Anne Kay has served as our Board Chair with unwavering dedication. Her ability to navigate significant changes, strengthen committees, and enhance policies, procedures, and community relationships has been invaluable to our organization.

Kevin Mayberry, our outgoing Vice Chair, has balanced his leadership role while serving as CEO of a global medical device company. Despite his demanding schedule, he remained fully engaged and committed, bringing invaluable insights to the board.

Welcoming Our New Leadership

We are excited to welcome Ken Dunn as our new Board Chair. Having previously served as Board Secretary and a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Ken’s deep ties to the Valley and commitment to our mission make him an excellent fit for this role.

Stepping into the Vice Chair position is Dr. Anjali Tate. As a physician, Dr. Tate brings a vital perspective to leadership, ensuring that patient care remains at the forefront of every decision. Her expertise will help guide discussions with a deep understanding of healthcare challenges and opportunities.

Continuing as Treasurer, Janet Conway provides invaluable oversight of our financial health. Her attention to detail and insightful questions have strengthened our financial strategies, and we are grateful for her continued leadership.

Our new Board Secretary, Gene Marcowka, brings extensive experience from the insurance industry. Though a relatively new board member, Gene has quickly become an essential voice, ensuring our policies, financial statements, and records are meticulously maintained.

Our Continuing and New Board Members

We are fortunate to have Jo Anne Kay remain on the board, where her leadership experience will continue to be an asset. Tyler McKellar, a Teton Valley local with a strong background in marketing, remains an integral member of our board. Joining us this month is Don Roth, professor emeritus of molecular biology at the University of Wyoming. His passion for excellent healthcare influenced his decision to retire in Teton Valley, and we are thrilled to have his expertise and dedication on board.

Looking Ahead

Our Board of Directors plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization. Their collective experience, commitment, and leadership ensure we continue to thrive and serve our community with excellence. A heartfelt thank you to all our board members—past, present, and future—for your service and dedication. We look forward to the impact we will make together!
