Laura Cooper, MD joined the Center for Aesthetics in 2016 after six years at The Plastic Surgery Group of Memphis. She is double-board certified by the American Board of Surgery (2007) and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (2012) and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (2012).
Dr. Cooper enjoys all aspects of plastic surgery. She has a special interest in women’s health and wellness, particularly in the care and treatment of women who face the challenges of breast cancer reconstruction. One of the most rewarding aspects of her practice has been working with breast cancer patients, supporting them through a life-altering experience, and replacing that which has been lost by creating beautiful, natural-appearing reconstructions.
Dr. Cooper also has a keen interest in complex facial reconstruction for various types of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
