Local See-N-Save Thrift Store Announces Closure
Local See-N-Save Thrift Store, owned and operated by Teton Valley Health (TVH), is announcing they are closing their doors after 25 years.
The decision came from the TVH Board after extensive deliberation. “We feel that TVH should direct all its efforts in providing healthcare to our growing population in the valley,” says Board Chair Mike Wine, DDS. “This decision has not been an easy one, nor one that we have taken lightly but we know that this community has other outstanding thrift stores that are able to provide the same support to our community.”
Adding to the timing in which the store will be closing is a change in store management. Lyza Diaz, current store manager at See-N-Save, will be leaving to pursue other opportunities outside the valley at the end of September.
“It has been a pleasure being the manager of See-N-Save for the past two and a half years,” says Diaz. “My goal has always been to serve the community and I thank TVH for giving me that opportunity. Thank you to our customers. We will forever treasure your support and kindness.”
“In light of this coming change in leadership at our thrift store we felt it time to re-evaluate its direction and re-align our efforts more closely to our vision and mission,” says Wine.
See-N-Save’s official last day will be Friday, September 30, 2022. Current staff of the thrift store will be shifted into other positions at Teton Valley Hospital after Friday.
During their final week, See-N-Save will not be accepting donations, but are encouraging the community to contact any of the following local thrift stores instead:
2nd Act Thrift Store
Victor, ID 83455
Lucky Dog Thrift Store
290 North Main Street
Driggs, ID 83422

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers for their business and their support throughout the years,” says Board Vice Chair Jo Anne Kay. “Our staff at See-N-Save still look forward to serving you through Friday, September 30, so please stop by, enjoy the sales, and visit one more time with our amazing team.”
