NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE FOR STREET MAINTENANCE

ROAD WORK NOTICE: The City of Driggs is chip sealing roads, including some around the hospital, on Tuesday, August 17 and Wednesday, August 18 (weather depending). This project with protect and extend the life of our roads, along with reducing maintenance costs. The project consist of spreading a thin layer of asphalt oil followed by a thin layer of crushed rock. This seals the asphalt and provides traction. The next day and periodically afterwards City staff will be sweeping the loose, excess rock off the roadway. Please drive slow on these roads until they are well swept.

The roads highlighted below will be closed at various times on Tuesday, August 17 and Wednesday, August 18 for this project. Please have any vehicles moved off the road as on-street parking will not be permitted on these days.
