Stryker Tower and the Tin Cup Challenge

The Community Foundation’s 12th Annual Tin Cup Challenge is underway! This year Teton Valley Health is raising money to purchase a Stryker Laparoscopy Tower, a piece of equipment that aids physicians when conducting minimally invasive surgeries. Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Mo Brown, will be one of our physicians that will get a lot of use out of this machine, as it greatly enhances his expertise during knee surgeries and other orthopedic surgeries.

The tower is a mobile piece of equipment that has a monitor, camera and printer capabilities, transmitters and a light source, which all provide visualization and documentation. The advanced tools are designed to deliver procedural efficiency and improved patient-specific results. Patients who are receiving colonoscopies, knee surgeries, gynecological surgeries, and other minimally invasive surgeries will benefit from the technology provided by this piece of equipment.

Join us this year during the Tin Cup Challenge day, Saturday, July 20th at the Driggs City Park! It will be a fun day supporting our community and the nonprofits that work tirelessly in support of a thriving Teton valley. Teton Valley Health will have a booth with fun activities and some “heathier you” giveaways. Stop by and say hello!
